LocalKaki’s role

LocalKaki provides tools for people to discover, share and connect. Unless we expressly say otherwise, LocalKaki is not the buyer, seller, service provider, employer, agent, broker, insurer, payment provider or party to any arrangement between users.

No listing or user guarantee

We may use automated checks, reports, contact verification and moderation, but these measures cannot confirm that every identity, listing, review, image, price, service, claim or message is accurate, lawful, safe or genuine. A “phone verified” or similar label only describes the specific check shown; it is not an endorsement.

No platform payment protection

LocalKaki does not process, hold or release transaction payments at launch. There is no escrow, buyer protection, seller protection, refund guarantee or chargeback service from LocalKaki. Payment arrangements are made directly between users at their own risk.

Your responsibility

• Inspect items and verify services before paying.
• Keep conversations on LocalKaki so warnings and reports can work.
• Do not share OTPs, passwords, banking credentials or unnecessary personal information.
• Meet at a busy public place and tell someone where you are going.
• For high value items, suspicious prices, deposits or pressure to move off platform, stop and reassess.
• Parents and guardians must supervise young users and consent where required.

Problems and emergencies

Use the report and block controls as soon as something feels unsafe. For suspected scams, contact your bank promptly and use official Singapore reporting channels. For immediate danger, contact the Singapore Police Force.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, users accept the risks of interacting and transacting with other users. Nothing in this notice excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including where Singapore law requires a term to be reasonable.
